Floyd was far from his best in 2015 but Kell would have been a better fight than almost anyone - some may even argue Pacquiao. Def better than Maidana and Berto.

Ducked or not I don't even care. When you been watching boxing for a certain amount of time you don't need to see every fight to know what would happen. Just like you can be maneuvered into a winnable championship fight you can be maneuvered to be Undisputed. I don't need to see him fight Indongo, Postol & whoever Else Bud beat to know Floyd woulda did the same. Obviously he wasn't Undisputed but nobody that knows anything about boxing would believe that Brook or Thurman could do anything with him even at that age. But you tryna pretend we the real boxing fans don't know what woulda happened. Smh. Pacquiao didn’t stand a chance at *any* point in his career, much less as time went by. Bob Arum may have told you so, but that was a lie. Like you say, styles make fights and Pacquiao has never been good enough to beat Floyd.

That fight was so one sided that I’d honestly (never even thought of this mind you) can’t see how Kell Brook woulda done worse. Pac did even worse than Canelo.... No one is saying Kell Brook beats Floyd or the Thurman of five years ago or Spence; etc etc. What I’m saying is you don’t get a pretend or hypothetical win.

In any given division there often seems to be a standout who thanks to politics and selective matchmaking doesnt make it happen. We dont ever call them undisputed just because they potentially would be.

You can sit down, get a feeding tube put in and watch all the boxing your life span allows and even develop some weird ability to know who wins... You still have to fight and get that win.

Maybe you give Floyd Thurman and Brook wins and count him as undisputed, but reality doesn’t. Maidana only gave him trouble because that’s not the Floyd who was 30 years old.
