Well yea and no. He recruits his team and promoter etc and if they allowed it just to expire then it’s on them. If they made a very obvious attempt to make the match up or agree to fight after the COVID has cleared up then legally they would be in a strong position. There is very little evidence from what we have seen in the pubic domain to suggest such a thing, wilder himself stayed quiet well past the date it was supposed to have ran out.
