Devin Haney should set his sights on looking impressive in his mandatory against Javier Fortuna.

It wouldn't necessarily prove that he's the world's best lightweight, however it would put him in the discussion vs. being boxed out with the "who has he fought?" question.

Haney will UD Fortuna, people won't get on the bandwagon after that fight.

Davis will fight him tomorrow for 5-8 mil. Hearn is not confident enough. He had more confidence in Farmer and Campbell. Time to send offers to boxers and see what comes back. Put them on the spot (written contracts?). Otherwise, it's all talk. Talk is cheap.

        Haney needs a new team.

          Some names on Gervonta's resume:

Jose Pedraza (who is at 140 now)
          Leo Santa Cruz
          Yuri Gamboa

Since you are a belts guy, Davis is the WBA lightweight champion. They don't call it regular anymore. That's why Lopez is disputed by two champions. You see how corrupt belts are.
How many fights has Davis had at 135? And of all those fights he's had at 135 how many of them has Haney also faced and beaten?

And now you claiming Davis is actually the full WBA champ and it's not Teo? While at the same time disregarding Haney as a champ at all even though he is the Full WBC champ?

You are claiming Tank has done more at 135 than Haney? How?

They aren't on the bandwagon now though. My point is that he needs a credible opponent and only a hater would say otherwise about Javier Fortuna. Either way, a win over Fortuna would be better than fruitless efforts to call out Teo Lopez and Ryan Garcia.

I can appreciate that side of it too. Hearn definitely needs to do his part as well.

Davis fought several times at lightweight before becoming a champ at 130 and after. You don't know that history. It's just enough that he's now a two-division champ simultaneously.

Hearn can get Haney any fight he wants. He needs to pay up. Even Loma will take it for 4 mil, 3 to him, 1 to Arum.

In terms of belts, Haney IS the real champ for the WBC. I don't care how he got it. Lopez is holding an honorary trinket.

Hearn can get it on DAZN too. I don't think Davis has a contract with Showtime. I've no doubt Floyd will let him fight on DAZN if the money is right. Hearn is all talk for Haney, while he's totally focused on making a good fight for his priority fighter, Joshua.

As I said, Hearn is wasting this young talent.
