Comments Thread For: Hearn: Calling Haney, Garcia, Lopez, Davis 'Four Kings' Is Adventurous

The quartet of Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns and Marvin Hagler were known as the "Four Kings" in the 1980s because they all stepped into the ring and faced one another throughout the decade in memorable fights.

"Hearn doesn’t think a fight will be feasible between Garcia and Davis because of their promotional and broadcast affiliations."

Funny, when Hearn is talking about AJ vs. Wilder, or Charlo vs. Andrade, there are no broadcast nor promotional issues! However, when it's Davis vs. Garcia, he doesn't see that happening! I do however agree with him, make the fight that can happen! Haney vs. Garcia!

Pay up you greedy promoter you pay Whyte over £5M. So why not pay Lopez £10M. Haney can take the fight for less than 1M because he is not known worldwide unlike Lopez or Garcia. Garcia is right he asked for Campbell and took the fight. Haney has done nothing apart from moan. once again he wants Garcia to fight Haney next pay him £10M same deal again with Haney

I remember when Hearn was gonna take over the US and make such huge offers rival fighters would have to accept. Now he has a young talented fighter Haney and he has no options for him and can't get him a big name opponent. All somebody else's fault doe

Lopez might be the champ but he’s not some household name yet. Haney has double the Instagram followers as Lopez. All that training with Floyd last year raised Haney’s profile.

I already see them taking you fools for a ride while none of them fight each other. It's the boxing way.

While none of them are anywhere near as Legendary as Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez, those 3 were the Mexican Trifecta of the featherweights in late 90s, early 2000s. Then you throw in the wrench of Pacquiao, and you had the 4 kings at that time. Anyone of them could fight each other and it made for a great fight. It's a shame Erik never fought Marquez though...
