My response to that bloviated Neanderthal was in the context of hypocrisy. Manny has accomplished a lot as a boxer.
However, he was very critical of Floyd fighting Connor. He said it was a disgrace to boxing and his loyal obtuse fans still harp on about it.
When Manny decides to fight Connor, they call it a “retirement” money and justify the fight because it’s their guy.
That’s the hypocrisy we are calling out.
It is the same hypocrisy Oscar has. He was super vocal and critical of Floyd fighting Connor and a few months ago he was calling out Connor.

Floyd is an all-time great. He chose to fight someone without a single professional boxing fight to his name.
Manny is proposing to fight someone who lasted 10 rounds with an all-time great.

In nature when the old lion roars a young replacement will take him out thats the law of the jungle, its more about his yapping about beating the top guys and then fighting easy beats which he has done for many years, and what gets me most fans cant even see it , Manny just gets a pass to everything.

So because he lasted 10 rounds with Floyd, that makes him a credible opponent for Floyd?
Before Floyd fought him, you and Manny were super critical of Floyd. After the fight, at no time did any of you guys say Connor must be good for fighting Floyd and lasting 10 rounds.
Now that Manny wants to fight a guy that has 1 pro boxing fight and he lost anyway, suddenly Connor is legit. Three years after he got beat, he is one legit to fight Manny.
You said the same thing when Mosley fought Floyd. That Floyd waited for him to get old nut when Manny fought him, you all harped about his dangerous Mosley was.
Oscar was past his prime when Floyd beat him but after being drained to 147, it became Manny’s greatest victory.
When Floyd beat Hatton, you all said Hatton was forced to move up in weight. After he got KO’d he became a legit threat to Manny.
Brandon Rios got beat at 140, suddenly he was a legit opponent for Manny at 147.
Dude, you guys are beyond help. Your logic just defines your ilk.

My statement was not entirely serious, however, the logic sort of holds.
Let's begin with your opening sentence. "So because he lasted 10 rounds with Floyd, that makes him a credible opponent for Floyd?"
No. Quite the opposite. He was never a credible opponent for Floyd. As we all know, Macgregor hadn't fought a boxing match in his life. This is the very definition of an opponent with zero credibility up to that point.
However, credibility can be earned. It is not an unchanging thing.
If a boxer has never had a boxing match in his life, I think we can agree that it is a farce to suggest he steps in the ring against one of the greatest boxers of all time.
But that is what happened with Floyd lining up a match with Macgregor.
Now, for whatever reason, Floyd took 10 rounds to get him out of there.
After those 10 rounds we have to give Macgregor a little more cred than we did before. He just lasted 10 rounds with Floyd. Either Floyd is not as great as we thought or Macgregor deserves some credit for lasting those 10 rounds.
So -- completely logically -- Manny is lining up a fight with a fighter that has more cred than the one Mayweather agreed to fight.
Still a farce. Just less of one than when Floyd did it.
