Could Canelo beat a 50 year old Vitali Klitschko in a boxing match?

If someone figures put a way to time travel back to the puritan movement era I hear Luis was a witness at the salem witch trials so they could bring him back and we can find outComment

Hmm, I was thinking of something on the lines that Canelo would just rely on sharp boxing and that his combination punching and varied attack, along with his speed, would help carry him. I mean yes, it is heavyweights so you can’t weight bully, so I didn’t factor that in. But I was thinking that the skill differential would be substantial enough to tip the scales in Canelo favor. That’s why I said someone unskilled or unconditioned.
Canelo is not winning the Heavyweight championship of the world here in this discussion. We are talking he takes on either a has been heavyweight, or with what I mentioned, a never was, or a no name heavyweight. Like Arreola level or worse.
I think Canelo would have to have the performance of his life. Better than he ever had to avoid his opponents power and size. But I think he would have the ability to pull it off.
And that would for sure be his ceiling at heavyweight. Anyone creeping near top 10 heavyweight who is half way decent and in prime, would at the very least, KD or hurt Canelo pretty bad, and at worse, stop him.Last edited by b Murphington; 01-11-2021, 05:54 PM.Comment

Yeah I’m thinking out of shape Vitali here.
Like a Vitali that has done minimum training. Off the couch. Hahaha
If he’s in decent shape, even at 50. Idk.
I guess I’m banking on Canelo tiring Vitali out in this scenario.
And we are talking about Canelo at the very top of his game. Better than anything we have seen.Comment
