Kurihara is a big bantamweight and has the height and reach advantage over Takuma Inoue ( 5′ 7½″ / 172cm - 5′ 4½″ / 164cm) , but Inoue has greater experience and has fought the better opposition. All things considered, Keita Kurihara is a important test for Takuma Inoue and vice-versa.

I'm liking the winner to fight Daigo Higa down the line.
What time is the fight on, can u hook a bruva up with a link?

The fight is on a delay until Saturday so we can't watch it tonight sadly

Inoue KO was at +400 other day and now down to +137 haha. I wanted to bet the unlikely seeming KO but was a little behind the pack as it was at +275 when I was considering and watching tape of this Kurihara fella, but I got in at +225 at least. Kurihara to me seems very upright with chin out and fights with a knock you out or get knocked out kind of style.

Seems kinda like Jono Carrol vs Scott Quig to me. Carrol had 3 KO's but stopped him and I envision a similar kind of situation.

Also I'm buying into the hype of strength and conditioning with his bro and hoping he inspired him with a little killer instinct. Also he's calling the KO but lots of people do that and it means very little lol...

I'll send you a link to Fuji-TV, but like YoungManRumble said, Kurihara vs. Inoue is on this weekend on a Sunday moring. Check out my post in the first page of this thread for the time.

Are they going to keep who won a secret like some pre taped reality show? Cause the odds all went off the books a little while ago since it must be live now.

I just want to know if I won my plus money bet that was apparently the hot take after all. Put a lil bit on mid rounds 5-8 also cause why the hell not.

The revealing of the winner does spoil the tape-delay doesn't it? I honestly feel that you cant ignore tweets going off, so I'm sure we will know the outcome before the day is done. I'm still watching Kurihara vs. Inoue if I get a chance. However, I'm really confused about the time -- Asianboxing is reporting that the tape-delay is at 3-4 am ( Japanese time-zone ), but I doubt those folks are going to be up at 3am to watch boxing.

I'm thinking that there is a two-three hour difference, like east-west over here. Good luck on your pick!

Kurihara has decent power. Really flawed defensively though. Dude just doesnt want to bring up his hands and then also doesnt know how to move his head.
His defense literally is to step out of range lol.

Yeah that's more or less what I was seeing.

His fight with Teshigawara was painful to watch.

I mean he probably still has a good chance of making it all 12 and likely losing a clear decision, but it could get interesting if he drops Inoue, whos been down a couple times at least I believe. Takuma certainly won't want to take too many clean right hands from this fella that's for sure.

I didn't have time to watch all of Takuma Inoue vs Froilan Saludar but he was down early round 1 and Oubaali dropped him too didn't he?

Brute force early KO seems like his only real chance.

Wasnt able to get around to watch takuma for this fight. But if he stays at range, works his jab and aims for his left hook counter, he should very likely win.
I saw a couple fights from kurihara and he mostly fought against guys who closed the distance on him and gave him spots to catch them on their way in and while they are trading.
Kurihara does not look good when he has to set up punches from midrange and just is way too vulnerable against quick handspeed, because his defense is just so vulnerable.
