Boxing could do with Ryan Garcia being the truth...

Because this guy has that real star potential.

As much as I like Canelo and he's a bad man, there's no denying he's a quiet guy who seems like he just wants all the cameras to **** off and leave him alone.

Garcia though he's a different breed, he loves the attention and has that charisma. You could see him on talk shows doing silly things like showing the host how to throw a good hook, with the female guests all swooning.

Thing is boxing needs a huge crossover star, we don't have one righ now, and though Floyd was huge he was hugely Unpopular.

I used to think AJ could be the one but since he's got glass jaw, no heart, no stamina, gunshy, etc that's definatley not going to be the case.

So yeah, I'm backing Ryan to get it done, he can bring mainstream eyeballs back on boxing like a young Oscar.

A lot of people don't think he'll beat tank and Haney would be 50/50. I think Ryan has a lot left to answer. And although the won his last fight, that knockdown he suffered made him lose some stock value.

Without a doubt Ryan has crazy star potential. His ceiling if he keeps winning is miles higher than Canelo’s who’s my favorite fighter.

He has great star potential if he is the truth. He is very popular already. I doubt he is the best lightweight though. He must keep winning to be a Canelo type superstar and I think he will lose against the very best lightweights. His chin and defense don't look like the truth. I hope he fails. I can't stand his incredible bragging and disrespect for his fellow boxers. Saying Tank can't last more than two rounds with him is very insulting and disrespectful. I hope he gets that fight and Tank knocks him out and shuts him and Oscar up. Lopez is an annoying bragger but he is the best at 135 and has proven it. Garcia is a far worse bragger than Lopez and has not yet proven he is the best or close to it. Let's see how he does and if he really fights guys like Tank, Haney and Lopez.
