    Great read as ALWAYS!!!!

    Defense,
    Ring Generalship,
    Effective Aggression,
    Clean Punching.

And the obvious Common Sense factor.

Defense is the one I see ppl forget about the most.

This is how to score boxing match.

Fantastic mail bag. They are all good but this week the readers asked some really great questions and Bread provided some awesome insight and opinions.

Will have to check out that Shawn Porter podcast, he has some really good assessment and analysis whenever I hear him talk the sport.

I like Shawn as a person a lot, but he feels entitled because he doesn't get knocked out in his biggest fights. U have to get back in line

it’s more than just not getting knocked out. He’s extremely competitive with everyone he’s fought. Many felt his losses to Thurman and Spence could’ve gone his way.

I agree. I didn't even consider that part about being KO'd. That was just silly. He's been in every fight and the losses could of been wins also.

Did he scratch your itching ears by saying 7-5 Lopez. Hes right about every round except round 6 especially since Lomachenko landed more based off the jab work.Bread just lied about the "two right hands at the end of round" that only 1 landed on the chest and 1 completely missed lol. Lopez only landed 10 to Lomas 14 so everybody can keep saying 7-5 but THE TRUTH is Loma took 6 to equal = 6-6 DRAW.

I won't argue with that. I had Teo 7-5. But can see giving Loma a draw.

Draw very fair for Loma I would have to question a win though... Loma only has himself to blame.

He mad now so hopefully he learned from his mistakes.. Too bad Teo moved on and wants no part of that work anymore...

I agree that Loma DIDNT WIN the fight. I just CANT justify giving Loma round 7 when the eye test told me Lopez was more in control that round (landing more at will) although if you look closely he was very inaccurate in his punch placement. However, Bread is wrong in his assessment concerning round 6. He thinks the last '2 punch sequence "sealed" the round for Lopez when in actuality only 1 landed (uppercut chest) and it was inaccurate. He mentioned the 4 criterias but the boxing rules state (which has a common sense factor) that the ONLY way a fighter can STEAL a round from his/her opponent (if their being outlanded) is if he/she lands something CLEAN, Hard or effective. Breads not going to admit it but he was biased for Lopez just like the rest of the world, he had other motives involved in his opinion for the same reason you got happy when you heard 7-5. Based off the 4 criterias and Official boxing rules, WITHOUT a doubt Loma TOOK round 6. This is coming from a true UNBIASED analysis that doesnt share the same motives you guys have. How do you argue with 14/20 (or 13/20) to 10/39 (11/20) stats?! I'd rather be Lomachenko (without the corruption going against him) who has more skill and wasnt getting BEAT UP and dominated the way Lopez did in the second half. The blueprint is out, Lopez is going to have a rough time moving forward in the future. I dont see him holding on to those belts for very long.

100% agree. I don't know if he watched it on his phone, tv, etc. I like Bread but it would be very hard to admit you was wrong in a very close fight you originally got right with the judges. Has he ever done that before where he said him and the judges were wrong??? IMO he probably didn't spend much time or energy watching it again. I know I haven't and still say 7-5 Teo
