After arguing with them for about 30 minutes, none of them agreed with me, but I still hold the opinion that if May would have came back and fully dedicated himself to training, he would beat Crawford.

I don't know. People seem amazed with Crawford, but he hasn't really beat anybody.

Am I the only one that thinks that current Mayweather could beat him?

Maybe, if Floyd is still able to move around the ring. I would favor Crawford, because of age and activity.
Floyd would probably be the favorite, but I could see Crawford boxing to a decision, depends on the judges and ref.
We really don't know how good Crawford is (at 147) and if Floyd still has a fight left in the tank after the layoff, plus Floyd's last fights were Conor 0-0 and washed up Berto.
50-50 fight, no other way to see it.

Crawford is still fresh and has a high boxing IQ. He would be one of Floyd's few opponents to have a reach advantage on Floyd. Both are 5'8" and have an unusually long reach for guys their height, Floyd's reach is 72" but Crawford has a 74" inch reach. He can switch hit which makes things even more tricky for Floyd.

There's no way current Floyd stops or even drops Crawford. I think Crawford would probably drop Floyd, and then pull ahead on the scorecards in the late rounds to win a wide UD.
