Were CANELO and LOMA ever “elevated” like Haney, GGG, Murata?

What if by chance Smith had to have left 168 a year ago? Would Canelo have been elevated from Regular to Super like Murata or GGG whom held the WBA regulars like Canelo?

Or what about Haney being elevated?

    What’s the difference?

Canelo FOUGHT the man in the division twice to prove he earned it. Didn’t Loma have to fight for his WBC too before being “elevated” like the others?

Was anyone ever elevated like Golovkin was when Canelo ducked the fight with him in 2015-2016 for the WBC title?

In 2014-2015 Cotto was the WBC Champion. GGG was taking step asides from Cotto. In theory, isn’t taking a step aside “ducking” when GGG Promotions could’ve enforced a mando? Yarde/Warren didn’t accept no step aside fees from GBP for the Kovalev fight.

I don't recall saying 2014 to 2015 I said 2015 t0 2016. Wasn't that around the time Golovkin was Interim Champion and Canelo was WBC Champion and ordered to unify the title but vacated instead.

        Has that ever happen before?

Wasn't Canelo elevated to Franchise Champion just so he wouldn't have to face mandatories at 160?

**** sound like Cinnamon Boy be out here trying to figure out ways to avoid his mandatory responsibilities.

Let me repeat, Cotto was the WBC Champion in 2014-2015. Canelo wasn’t even ranked higher than GGG before he fought Cotto. The dialogue was how come Cotto didn’t fight Golovkin when he was Champion. The answer is because GGG took step asides from Cotto. The same step asides that GGG took for Khan approval. It means GGG Promotions were totally fine taking step asides from Cotto and Canelo. GGG could’ve refused step asides ever since Cotto had the WBC.

The point is MONEY! If a fighter acknowledges step aside fees then why should other stars or fans cry that the fighter doesn’t feel the need to give the other “star” a purse bid?

Btw, Cotto did fight Martinez too. It’s GGG’s fault for taking consecutive step asides. Cotto and Canelo were big purse bids.

The WBA never mandated Canelo at 160. How long did he hold that belt since beating Jacobs for it? Canelo fought two elites at 160; GGg and Jacobs. Why would Canelo worry about any other 160 fighter? Jacobs and GGg were the most accomplushid. I don’t think Andrade ever destroyed a former champion the way Jacobs did to Quillin.
