Should jose ramirez be considered a top 10 p4p fighter?

This ^. Or at best both fights coulda gone either way. For me Postol maybe had slightly more of a case than Zapeda but certainly Jose didn't look great against either.

Bud outclassing prime Postol is what a P4P performer looks like not Ramirez lucky to sc**** past the shopworn old version 4 years later.

Fair play however - if he beats Taylor convincingly I might start to consider him in the conversation however. I don't think he will though.

Like Ramirez though, seems like a good dude with genuine care for his community, he's also pretty much always gonna give you value for money although I'm not sure he does his longevity too many favours.

I was watching a video of him and virgil ortiz sparring a couple months back and something the dude taping said stuck with me. He said he considered him a p4p guy and I was thinking about how I never hear his name in that convo..

He has nice wins, orozco when he was undefeated, Iman, hooker, postol.. but does he need a name like taylor or prograiris to set him over the top and get him in there?
