Is Pacquiao serious about retiring soon?

I have been thinking about it and I reckon he's not joking here. He strikes me as a guy that is impulsive and maybe has a tendency to be a little unfocused when there's **** going on around him, but once he makes a decision about him, there's nobody more attuned to completing a task. He's also one of the few fighters that can claim to have a chance to do music, films, and basically be assured of success no matter what he does. With all that at his disposal, why not retire, especially after all the big fights in all the weights he's already had?

maybe 3 more fights for him and thats it..

hes financially stable at this time and maybe he'll focused more on his family and the growth of his children.. i think that a boxer after all of the punichment that he'd taken all throughout his career will think pf retirement at the age of 30 if that fighter is financially stable in the case of pac hes stable at this time!

Pacquiao also had world championships at super bantamweight and in the flyweight division before that I believe. He's had a long career already.

probably not in 2007, ever since he was figthing in America, Manny has expressed desire to retire by the Age of 30, i remember that the previous TEAM PAC's target was to fight Big Money fights against MAB, JMM, EM and for his Finale the previously undefeated Frietas at 130 ...

since then he already fought MAB, JMM and Erik twice at 130 (set for a 3rd), IMHO Manny is already ahead of schedule from the original plan and maybe that's the reason for contemplating retiring early and still on top...

well if that's not a feat, you dont know nothing.

his plans to retire is rather expected and a lot of concerned people have been clamoring for it.

foremost in that is his health and secondary is retiring while still on top of the game. he has plans to continue his own promotion so he will atill be active in the scene as a promoter.
just on his next fight alone, he got the tv rights for the philippines.

his fortune is already intact and just his purse on november alone is not even enough to spend for his lifetime.

maybe 2-3 more fights, one of which would be a barrera rematch. for sure.
