Garcia is not ready for this IMO but maybe he looks at his bud Canelo and thinks of how he took on the best and lost but it didn't destroy him. Maybe he sees it as a worthwhile risk to increase his profile.

If he looses; he was too young. If he wins; he's a prodigy. Davis has more to lose, PR wise.

Maybe feint a right and try to draw the left uppercut out of Tank and maybe there's a left hook counter there?. Tank loves that punch. He reminds me of how Zab used to always look for it to bail him out when nothing else worked. To Tank credit, I think he sets it up much better than Zab.

Why didnt Manny knock out all his opponents ? How could he stop Cotto yet B grade 130 guys went the distance , once you figure that out you will get how it can and does happen to most fighters.

It is a actually a breath of fresh air to see two young stars who want to fight one another, when we have had Crawford/Spence marinating for over a year and neither guy wants anything to do with the other.

Tank didn’t go down against Cruz, who was more offensive than Campbell was. Both had devastating KO wins. Both shots had power and style, but nobody would rather take the shot Cruz took over the one Campbell did. Odds will open close to even, but am I wrong to think Vegas won’t have Tank favoured? -130? -150?
Of course Tank would be favoured by the betting odds, am still going with Ryan due what i listed in my previous post.

Fighting the smaller cruz who even at his most effective weight class was a light puncher, isn't the same as fighting a fully fledged 135 fighter.

When picking in boxing, the little things matters. The regressing of Tank is not been seen by a lot of people, due to the highlight reel KOs, for me this is a factor. When you don't live the life as a boxer then it would catch up with you when you eventually fight someone your own size (Who actually lives the life).

If these TWO fight each other before Spence/Bud then i really don't want to hear anything from Bud and Errol.

There is NO way Dela Hater allows Garcia to get cracked by Tank. This fight won't happen anytime soon. Let's not even get excited.

After reading all the comments on here I gotta say as a Tank fan I would pick him. As a boxing fan I still pick Tank but only in a hard fought battle. I think Garcia has problems landing that left hook due to the height difference. Tank can almost walk under it without worry.

The question is can he catch Garcia like Campbell did? If he manages to he wont let Garcia back in the fight like Campbell did. Tank is a shark and when he smells blood he goes for broke. On the other hand Garcia is a true pro in terms of staying fighting fit and would fair far better in the later rounds and that could be his only chance.

He does and he generally slips the right hand to the left and comes underneath it. That’s a punch that has to be avoided at all cost.
