Ryan said he ain't fighting TIL September. Vs Tank. No fight in between.

I didn't buy it was next before & I definitely don't buy it's next now. I don't see it happening at all this year cuz I feel like there are too many roadblocks to making a fight between them.

All the hype is interesting doe & I'm not sure why that's so big in fairness unless they are just testing the waters on how much that fight could be built up. Ryan does seem extremely confident of his side of it which is the main thing giving me any doubt I'm wrong with my take the fight don't happen.

Coming off his biggest victory, and he decides to be inactive? Seriously?? Meanwhile, fans in the thread are fawning over him for wanting to face Davis. Face Haney or Linares, inactivity just seems like a waste of momentum. That is...unless he believes he'd catch an L in his next fight and jeopardize the Davis fight.

Yea it didn't make sense to me either. Mannix didn't really push him too much on the answer either so Ryan just went into some spiel about needing 4 to 5 months of hyping/selling the PPV or something along those lines.

Although hindsight being 20/20 that does explain his extreme celebration for me a little better that was above & beyond Teo's when he beat a top 3 P4P discussed guy if he believes it to be him basically winning a Tank PPV fight next.
