Thanks I forgot about that fight. I believe it was 4 years ago, I just assumed his losses were by decisions. I think he got too reckless in that fight and Sosa has a hell of a chin so he made Fortuna pay

Yeah he shouldn't have lost that fight. He was winning.

Fortuna is a tough outing for any of the top 135. He has fought his way into contention and deserves a shot.

That should definitely happen . . . But will it?

Imo if he refuses the mandated championship fight he should also be stripped of "interim" status. But I doubt that happens either!

Keep dreaming Sampson, no one is backing you on this one, starting with the WBC!

Who knows but I'm up for Haney vs Fortuna. That's not a bad fight.

I think Haney outboxes Fortuna pretty easily he's wild and wings his shots perfect for a Haney counter don't forget this is the same Fortuna who faked an injury to get out of his fight with Granados when he was being mauled inside the ring. He is not a true 135 lber he should be fighting at 130 but like his compatriot Joan Guzman he can't keep his weight under control.

I sparred fortuna myself, his handspeed is the best I've ever seen. I would not bet against him versus haney. That said, I've never been in the ring with Haney so I'm biased. He looks like the real deal
