Fair enough. If trash talking is a part of boxing then you could argue that not giving proper credit where credit is due has also been a part of it for a long time now. Personally I would not give credit to Lopez but I would also not say anything in regards to giving excuses etc. If I was Loma I would just stay quiet and do my thing, get back on top and let my fights to the talking. I agree the trash talking isnt necessary. Hands I'd prefer 2 fighters to verbally speak on their own talents not the lack thereof their opponents and then show skills in the ring but there isnt enough of that.

I personally rather enjoyed the build up to DSG and Spence recently there was playful banter but more importantly they were both happy about the fight then left it in the ring.

When did I say it as ok for Trump to say what he does? I already responded to this in your previous rant. There are 2 sides to Trump. There is the social media side and the political side. You need to learn context. Lopez and fans are claiming that Loma is disrespecting him for not giving him credit for his win. Lopez has been verbally trash talking him without even knowing him so why would Loma give Lopez any respect?

Lomo vs Teo is a closer fight, Loma utterly dominated the second part of the fight.
7 vs 5 for Teo is a good card.

Pac never dominated any part (half/quarter or whatever) of the May fight.

Loma won against Gary Russel jr by MD when he clearly dominated the fight.

He lost to Salido by SD and I thought he could have won that fight like many people.

So overall, Loma has been shortchanged, like most foreign fighters...

Are you on crack? Lopez CLEARLY beat Loma. Loma gave away the first half of the fight yet Lopez didn't do enough to win convincingly? All you have to do is win more rounds (clearly) than your opponent to win which is what he did. How does that not make him undisputed? He beat the man who was the undispited champ. End of story.

Clearly? Clearly means you have highlights reels all over the place of a total domination. What fight did you watch? This is what is funny to me, similar to Pac-Fraud Jr. fight. If the perceived better fighter doesn't act in a manner in the fight that is expected, they automatically lost by landslide. Like you want shutout or nothing.

Loma CLEARLY figured out Lopez in the second half. He had trouble the 1st half. Yes, he didn't do hardly anything, though neither did Lopez other than the occasional stay off me type punch to keep Loma away. Okay then, fair enough, he did that to keep Loma off him up to rd6. From there on, Loma was strafing him bad. I'm not sure what you consider "clearly", but this wasn't "clearly". Only "clearly" for those that didn't see a typical Loma 12rd shutout.

I've always been a fan of Loma's skills but his ego is preventing him from viewing the fight objectively. Of course he doesn't think he lost. In his head there was no way he could lose that fight going in and thus he cannot accept that he lost fair and square.
I hope Loma doesn't reach Wilder levels of delusion but he's going down that road if he doesn't just accept reality and the fact that if you clearly give away the first half of the fight, you have no chance of winning unless you score a KD.
Even if Lopez landed less than was calculated by compubox, you score a fight round by round. In rounds where you do nothing, the fighter who lands a few punches will win the rounds. Sure Loma came back in the second half but not enough to even come close to winning a round 10 to 8.

I feel the same way

I was rooting for Loma and thought he would win, but I would be lying if I said that he did not give up the first what? 7 rounds of the fight? There were early rounds where he threw in the single digits. I didn't have him winning a round until round 8.

What is sad is that he looked fantastic as soon as he started to you know.... throw punches. Problem is that he started fighting too little too late. He won 4, maybe 5 rounds AT BEST IMO.

Should have done more. Could have done more. But did not.
