That style only works if you’ve got power to keep the opponent honest, he’ll take a beating when he steps up.

He’s from my neck of the woods and I’d love to back him but I just can’t see it. He stunk the Arena out last time I seen him on the Ritson bill.

That sticks in my mind of a fighter taking it very well. A close loss that he could have argued against.

He is a man of character.

Jesus, this is another thing that irritates me about Brits...knowing **** all about whats going on in their own country. The average person on the street probably couldn't even name five super league clubs, does that mean that rugby isn't our second most popular sport either??? How many people could realistically pick out Aubemayang out of a line up? Or Van Dijk? Does that mean the EPL isn't mainstream either???

Too many of you idiots live in a bubble in bum**** s****horpe or some **** and want to lecture on what is "mainstream".
Fooking curling gets coverage on the news when UK does half decent at it, is that mainstream too you dafty?

You gonna pretend football isn't a million times more popular in the UK? LMAO multiple stadiums of tens of thousands nearly every week, all week and on the same days across the whole country compared to the occassional AJ fight and Froch groves that one time?

Rugby, Tennis, Cricket, F1 etc get shown on BBC & ITV channels way more regularly and especially for intenational comp they just that much more popular and you hear more people talking about it in day to day life.

Like I said boxing isnt' mainstream Fury & AJ are, Joyce Dubios was a pretty high profile fight for UK boxing and broke through a bit it's not regular. The only time you see the a decent proportion of the nation get behid boxing is for AJ, Fury and the olympics.

You're whole language reads like you are pretending to be from the UK or just not living in the real world with the rest of us.

Oh **** so basketball isn't mainstream here because grown man football is more popular?

          It's a ****ing dumb argument.

Good job, never happens here. Only time the nation gets behind boxing in America is when Mike Tyson was the champion.

How can I pretend to be from England? WHY would I pretend to be from England?? Seriously??

This is what I am talking about. No, curling is not mainstream. Joshua and Fury are well known for the same reason Khan, Lewis, Benn, Eubank, Froch, Calzaghe, Groves and plenty others were well known. Our mainstream talent gets big coverage the moment they are decent...because boxing is mainstream. Don't know many curlers though do you??

Guys like Spence and Crawford would be ****ing national heros if they were British. They're virtual unknowns in the US, even guys like Garcia rely heavily on either social media or the heavy presence of Mexicans in the US. Are you legit trying to say that all three wouldn't be a MASSIVE deal if they were from here?
