  • Why does GGG continue to get a pass for blatant cherrypicking?

He's rumored to fight Munguia when he can easily try to unify the division....

This fight will be coming off of fighting that polish guy who wasn't even a real mandatory. He was ranked #3 in the IBF and the IBF never ordered it but little G still went ahead and fought him anyway for an easy payday.

Why isn't the media bashing their previous media darling? Why isn't the MAGA boxing community mad?

GGG fans are trying to preserve him for a fight that will never happen.

yeah...at this point it looks like a longshot...if you read the tea leaves....

the kicker though? if canelo doesnt give him the 3rd fight theyll say canelo is scared....if he were to sign it would turn into "yeah figures he signs golovkin is 39 now and hes old"

Because the only person he lost to was Canelo.

He should really be trying to fight the best but he’s back to being a typical euro fighter (he’s not technically euro but may as well call him Proska)

            Get a pass?

            People complain daily about this.

If you meant getting a pass in the media as a whole then I agree. He should be unifying with Andrade, just to strengthen his 160 ownage.

                I'm not talking about us.

I'm talking about the media and the MAGA boxing community. Why aren't they holding their darling to the same standards ?

                  He's 39.

It's the same reason Manny hasn't fought or defended his belt in almost 2 years and most people don't really care.

Personally, I have a lot of respect for GGG & Manny, but they gotta either defend those belts against top competition or let them go.

This is about the ten thousandth thread about this or something closely related to it. Who gives a ****. Bump one of the dozens of threads from the past two years instead of starting a new one.
