Lets Be Honest: Ryan Garcia has a chance to beat Tank Davis...

Majority of individuals say that Tank will for sure tko or ko Ryan Garcia, but I believe the fight is kinda up for grabs. My initial reaction to their fight (Garcia vs Tank) was, "Well, he was knocked down by Luke Campbell, so Tank will definitely do it". But, I realized some facts, Tank was struggling to knock out a 40 year old Gamboa. Now, this fight could've have just been a "Flu-zy" or a "off" night for Tank, but for his, to date, only fight at 135, its kinda disappointing. If you are a Ryan Garcia fan you'll say, Tank has no power at 135 and he gasses quick. If you are a Tank fan, you'll say Haney couldn't even knock down gamboa so maybe gamboa's chin got better. Considering Davis' reach and height disadvantage against, I don't believe he'll get the same opportunities to hit Garcia that Campbell did. You could respond that, Tank will invest majority of his punches to the body, and I agree. But, when has Tank showed good body work against any lightweight. I'm not saying I don't think Tank will win, cause I do, but I wouldn't be surprised if Garcia catches him early or survives Davis' early onslaught and gets a late stoppage or SD.

You can believe whatever you want....Tank knocks this kid out and I'm not even a huge tank fan but I know if he hurts Garcia like Campbell did...he's not gonna sit there like a dumb knot on a log waiting for the guy to recover...lolol.....50/50 my ass....there's a REASON why Garcia won't take on tank after calling him out....and I struggle to believe it would be because Davis doesn't want that fight....Davis should be salivating at facing that kid...it'll be like watching a young fierce lion devour a gazelle

Until Tank beats someone better than Campbell at 135, I favor Ryan by late round TKO.

Yeah, he has a chance, but a punchers chance imo. Garcia makes some strong technical mistakes. Not even counting the ones that we see in his linear footwork and limited head movement. The biggest flaw imo is the way he sacrifices defense for his speed and power. He throws his punches with his chin up and lifted; even when he dropped Luke with the left hook, his chin wasn't tucked and his right arm didn't cover his face. Think Amir Khan and how Amir threw his shots without regard for defense. Technical mistakes like these will lead to bigger issues. Not saying that Davis will undoubtedly time this and shoot his shots in the middle of Garcia's combinations or anything, because nothing is given. But technical flaws like these will lead to ugly losses for Garcia at some point in his career. Davis has the tools to exploit this because he's just as fast. But at the same time, Tank comes in to some of his fights looking like he cheated his training. So yeah, Garcia has a chance, but his technical flaws make his chances a "punchers chance" imo

Of course Garcia’s got a chance. Offensively there’s a lot about his game to like. But that defense is yikes.

Tank had a hard time taking out one legged Gamboa. I think Garcia has a good chance.
