I agree. Fortuna has been in title position for a long time. Garcia needs to beat a Linares to continue growing as a pro.

Hell so does Haney. Haney needs to keep fighting better people. I really feel like this is a moot point because all the promoters want auduences for ppv. Till this covid stuff clears i dont see it. I could see Ryan fighting Linares then Nakatani. Haney needs to fight fortuna. Davis can fight Gary Russell. Lopez will fight the Aussie then maybe Loma again, Stevenson will fight Frampton who will beat Herring then maybe winner of Berchelt -Valdez. We shall see.

The same way people rated Pac over Marquez even after Pac was knocked out by him?

The only thing I took away from this article is that the boxing politics will find a way to prevent this fight from happening. If the fight gets made, who does the winner fight? Does Tank (who has yet to really do anything at 135) then decide to take on the winner or does Lopez (becoming the worlds biggest diva with this "A++ side" garbage) decide to fight one of them?

Lopez is claiming to be the one true ring at 135 and everyone else just playing smeagle. If that is the case then what do the other guys in the division need to do to get Lopez to fight them? Tank is being held back by Floyd. Ryan seems to want the big names and Oscar is back and forth in letting him. Haney seems to want to fight the big names too.

I guess only time will tell.

lmfao "MY EYE! It BURNS!!" What a incredibly boring fight ahahahhaha. Although Loma was a bit older, Loma vs Teo was pretty damn good considering what boxing gives us. I hate, but love this damn sport smfh.

Loma wasn't functioning at 100%. I don't know if it was an injury or what. Something was weird. I need to see more before I write him off. Maybe it was a bad night. Loma is overall more accomplished as well. Wasn't much impressed with Lopez.

Ranking someone you beat above you is not really a rarity.

As good as the Trinidad versus Vargas fight was, the Toney versus Jirov war was better. You've got to give James Toney all the praise in the world, he just wouldn't allow Jirov to win that fight. I mean Jirov was an undefeated killer, who also was the IBF Cruiser Weight Champion. It was just an amazing test of wills, captivating to watch how far they both dug down to win.
That fight was a crowning moment for both Jirov and Toney. The memory is etched.

Tank and Haney aint fighting anyone we’ve ever heard of UNLESS their close to 40 LOL.
Teo will fight at least one great fighter IF HE CAN GET THEM IN THE RING.
