We have too many weight classes in boxing and need to go back to the original 8. When you say you're a 3 or 4 division champion, who the hell cares? There are too many belts and too many weight classes. In UFC it actually means something to win 2 belts since you have to make a 10 or 15lb jump. But a 4lb jump? 6 lb jump? Who cares that you won belts and super welter and middle?

I always say this. Too many weight classes = too many weak champs and pretendents.
