The time is drawing near, folks. It won't be long until we get to see the rematch between Marco Antonio Barrera and Rocky Juarez. Now here's the thing, I don't think Juarez won the first fight, I thought Barrera took it by two points. the thing is, it doesn't matter what anyone thought, the judges had it a draw, then the result was changed in a very su****ious manner.
Now, if I was Golden Boy, the last thing I would want to do would be to put Barrera in an immediate rematch with Juarez. But Barrera showing true class said that he doesn't like the controversy so Juarez gets his rematch.
I just thought it was telling how Barrera has thrown down with Pacquiao, Morales, Hamed and stood in there, yet he wante dto play the long game with Juarez after he felt that power.
I wouldn't be surprised if Barrera came on strong, but I am taking this as my upset of the year prediction.
Your thoughts?
And by the way, with two other STUNNING fights on the under-card with a unification of the bantamweight championship, plus Jorge Barrios versus Joan Guzman, if this event doesn't sell, there is something drastically wrong as it is slid from top to bottom.
