Garcia's chin isn't glass. When Khan went down, he was saved by the bell. Garcia cleared his head and finished the round strong.
is Ryan Garcia the next Amir Khan?

Khan more speed (the fastest hands at 147 I've ever seen in his prime) Garcia has the edge in power, Garcia has more composure and likely a better chin. Khan still had a good career. Garcia is likely better, but he's in and around very though guys of a similar age in his division(s)
People say a 5 ft 3 guy (Tank) wouldn't beat 5 ft 10 Garcia, but I'd pick Tank by KO any day. Height does not win fights. That myth has been going to discredit taller guys (generally HW) for too long. Ability wins fights.
I like Garcia, and he should be allowed to be a legend by winning 5 and losing 5 in 10 fights vs top guys like the "legends" from the older eras, but in this day and age, if anyone loses one fight, even at the elite level, they are a bum and nothing compared to fighters with 15 losses from the past.
That's why current guys can never be rated as highly as ones from the "golden eras" by the majority of fans. As I mentioned once on here, Joe Frazier (legend, right?) He wouldn't be if he lost to Foreman by round 2 brutalization in this day and age. He'd just be an overrated bum.
Modern-day fighters are held to impossible standards.Comment

khan got dropped several times before the prescott fight where he was actually KO'd. so he had been knocked down to get up and win too. we just have to wait to see if garcia has his own breidis prescott.
the way he went down vs a guy who is not a puncher is a bad sign. but hey, we are haters i guess.Comment

As far as exchanges go Ryan Garcia is tough. That flush left hook could’ve been like Bellew vs Makabu, or Berchelt’s lossComment
