lol, I'd never heard of either one of those guys so looked up the fight & watched it since it was short
What made you pick that fight? I'd have thought someone would just say Mike Tyson vs several fighters, or something more famous.Comment

Whats crazy is tank is 7" shorter than garcia but his reach is only 2.5" shorter than ryans. For a borderline midget tank has some long ass arms.Comment

I think the people around Tank would take the fight for him now, because they know Ryan would only get better. Timing wise this is the best time to fight him, and his social media hype thing would be attractive to them.Right now it doesn’t really matter because Garcia is still very inexperienced. He pretty much only looks for the left hook. Any good and experienced boxer is going to take that away from him.
In a year or a few more matches against high level opponents, it’ll change though. Garcia will get better (unless he doesn’t) and Tank won’t have anything for him.
Same with Teofimo. I think with more experience, Garcia would do to Tank what Teofimo would do to Tank right now. Which is bully him by being the bigger fighter with more reach.
Tank better go for it now before Garcia cuts his teeth at the elite level. One that happens, I am not so sure that Tank would even make it a fight.Comment

This post sums it up. Tank has done what he needed to do and Tank is a good fighter but hes only competed at 135 because hes undisciplined and blows up in weight between fights.Tank is not very good. We have seen him getting lit up by small bums where he bailed himself out with power.
Hes not good enough to handle Loma, hes too small to handle Garcia, Lopez, or Loma. He only fights blown up Bantamweights.
His resume is filled with guys whos best days were at 122 or 126, and weren't huge for the division.
I mean he was smaller than Gamboa... And Gamboa has never had any business fighting at 135. His best days were again at 126.
And Tank took 10 rounds to get him out of there after Gamboa ruptured his Achilles tendon in the 2nd...
He should be competing at 126 tbh and I'd favor every legit LW over Tank as well as some JLW like ShakurComment

Because I trained with Booker T years before. He is one great guy.
I loved how he was jumping around after the bout, just like the kid is that is inside of him. If you know Booker T, you love Booker T. Unless you happen to be Anthoney Hembrick.......Rockin'

Not a fan of Tank but comparing him to Wilder is ridiculous. Nothing in common other than having 0 top scalpsComment

Exactly. Critics will call Ryan Garcia one-dimensional, however that left hook is one heck of a dimension. If he adds more of those straight rights you mentioned then he will be a handful as you said.He actually threw, and landed, some beautiful hard straight rights down the middle that seem to hurt luke. But you're right,If he could develop/vary up his attack with his right a little more hes going to be hand full because it looks like it has some serious pop behind it.Comment
