"He was an Olympic Gold Medalist"

    "He was a former champion"
"He was a top 10 fighter in the division"
"He gave ________ a tough fight"

Let's stop the shenanigans. Nobody who takes their time to post on this forum is a casual. We watch fights even when we don't want to. We know the quality of fighers, we know how they performed in recent bouts. Stop trying to sell people for your guy.

Callum Smith - no great wins or skills. Robbery against domestic John Ryder in previous fight. Everyone on here that saw that fight knew Canelo would slap him around that ring. He was a huge dog for a reason.

Luke Campbell - 4 losses now. Every big fight he had he lost. He won a gold medal 8 YEARS AGO. His pro career has just been solid. He was brought in to push Garcia a bit but he's basic. Again, dog for a reason.

Kamil Szermeta - Who(if I spelled his name right I'd be surprised)??? 10% KO ratio. Not an acceptable fight for Golovkin.

Kubrat Pulev - Guy, he landed a jab against Wlad like 6 years ago and got beat down and stopped. He had 1 loss because heavyweight wasn't very good. Huge dog. Joshua did what he was supposed to. Probably should've stopped him sooner.

Kell Brook - Both sides of face broken in back to back fight years ago. Has fought absolutely nobody in years leading up to Crawford fight nor even campaigned at Walter. 3rd round. 10th round. Jab. Body shot. Doesn't matter. He was going to be brutalized. Huge dog.

My point: we ALL do it. All of our favorite fighters are taking bs mismatches. It's okay to admit it(t's also okay to give credit to fighters you dislike but different thread). Now kumbaya and stop beefing and lying when you're all similarly biased.

Often it is more a game of semantics than anything else. Then again isn't disqualifying a top ten or former champion because you disagree with their ranking allowing or more rather injecting bias into assessment?

I do agree though, we play far too many resume games here. It is a bit absurd.
