The reason Ryan called out Tank and not Haney is Tank, since he has a solid following, will mean a bigger purse and it’s a more winnable fight because Tank is shorter and has shorter arms, allowing Ryan to fight/box from the outside and avoid the power shots.

Haney is high risk and low reward for Ryan so he will avoid Haney for as long as possible. Haney may not his as hard but his skill set and athleticism makes it more difficult for Ryan.

The ironic thing is that Tank is already going on 30 & is still a prospect, its rediculous how Floyd keeps the training wheels on him,by the time he steps up he might be another Broner in that he was looking great til he stepped up then couldn't handle losing(I DO rate Tank btw but he hasn't delivered on the promise he showed)
Did Broner lose because he stepped up in comp level or because he was in a weight class that was too big for him?

I think Broner lost because a combination of things (it usually is)but after he lost to Chino he wasn't able to deal with losing (hes one of those fighters that has to believe hes unbeatable baby floyd, otherwise his entire psyche collapses,& then he lost focus completely when everyone started making memes online clowning him(his entire persona is built on feeling superior,he lost his Aura,Chino took his very soul.)

No doubt hes best at 140 imho, but he moved up because he was too undisciplined to make 140 anymore & even lost to a natural 135 lber after,& thats why I mentioned Tank because he already is struggling to make 130,& hes going to have to move up late in his career around same age Broner was forced to both for money fights & it allowed him to eat better than 140 where hed be starving since his body grew,

& instead of him having already fought the elites & being able to carry up his all around game, its possible Davis won't have the experience to pull out wins vs the best at 135,& if that happens I think it would be similar to Broner.

Davis is going to have no choice but move up for money fights eventually.
