Why is Margarito fighting Clottey?

This is bull**** for Margarito.How can he make money fighting Josh Clottey,a lesser known but strong fighter who's known to fight dirty,like the mofo naturally fights leading with his head.This is a very dangerous fight for Margarito where theres alot more risk than reward.If he wins,SO WHAT!the majority dont even know Clottey.To me,if he fights Clottey its the worse managing I've seen of a fighter since JMM went to Chris Johns hometown and fought him for chump change just to get a title belt in which he ended up losing.

if this fight between margs and clottey goes through,I pick Clottey by tech.decision in the middle rounds because toni's gonna cut due to a clottey headbutt which would deny him of a second half of the fight rally.

also add on to the fact that i think clottey's a faster starter than margarito,so i'd give clottey a slight edge for the first half of the fight

I have to agree completely, it's a lose/lose situation for Margarito. I think a fight against Williams would be much more lucrative fight, it would showcase his power & if he comes out on top his popularity would go way up. karma coming your way.

Edit; Also If he wants Floyd, he'll have to take out Williams just so Mayweather doesn't take a shot at him instead of Margarito.

who is the tougher opponent ; Clottey or mitchell? I aint a big fan of margarito but the guy don't seem like he ducks anyone. Everybody is jumping on the Williams bandwagon but so far from the many fights Ive seen Williams in he gets hit too much, he comes in straight and predictable and he hasnt displayed an abilty to change his gameplan probably cause he has fought a bunch of well selected chumps. My only gripe with Margarito was all the sulking he did when mayweather strategically chose not to fight him(ducked) and the inactivity that led to a less than spectacular showing against Clottey. You know he shoulda known from talking to PBF he wasnt part of the plan and would probably never get to fight Floyd, Its probably a hard thing to take for someone with a lot of pride tho.

If Maragarito and Williams do get together,lets hope, I'll go on record right here and put all the points (measley) I got that margarito stops him cold! The body attack will be the deciding factor plus the fact that Williams is more of a volume puncher with way overated power. This will be a easy fight for Margarito!
