Comments Thread For: Teofimo Lopez: Check Hook There For Ryan Garcia All Day, High Chance He KOs Campbell

SAN ANTONIO Teofimo Lopez thinks Luke Campbell's boxing ability can cause difficulty for Ryan Garcia at times Saturday night. The unbeaten unified lightweight champion still suspects Garcia's power will trump the British southpaw's skills in their fight for the WBC interim 135-pound crown. From a business standpoint, Lopez (16-0, 12 KOs) wants Garcia to win because the 22-year-old contender is a popular American rival that the Brooklyn native eventually can fight.

I can see that check hook or upper cut landing for Garcia, once Campbell ducks into one from his southpaw stances.

      Snatched Lomachenko’s heart?

Must of been a different 6-12 rounds that I was watching, Lopez talks like he Knocked Loma out and he doesn’t seem to keen on a rematch....

I agree. Lopez and Ryan talk as if they're knocking guys out in the first round with one punch. Neither has a lot of fights but to them they are the greatest of all time

If Campbell doesn’t commit to leads but instead focuses on trying to catch Garcia as he comes in and if he wants to lead, does it behind feints, It could be interesting. I hope Campbell doesn’t just get blasted out so we can get a fight.

Garcia has KO'd 15 of his opponents before the 4th round.
10 of those 15 Were KO'd in the First round.

In Lopez's defense, if Loma was supposed to be the best fighter in the world, which ESPN said he was, then when he beat him, he's supposed to feel that he is now the best fighter in the world! To be the man, you have to beat the man! Mission Accomplished!

Exactly, ESPN was selling loma as the best fighter on earth which I knew all along as bllx. Definitely on the p4p list but wasn’t in any fights he was actually either expected to lose or in with someone who had the tools and size to beat him.

                    Gotta give him credit.
I thought he'd come back at me with something like " I meant elite competition ".
