Some wise words here from Hopkins. It's one thing to look the business against lower level opponents. As soon as you raise the level of the opponent to the standard of Luke Campbell, it suddenly becomes much harder to look brilliant. The things he does well won't work so easily; his flaws will be tested and/or exploited. I suspect he will labour to a victorious decision against Campbell. If he stops him, I will start to believe the hype a little.

Definitely more skilled than Ortiz was but eerily similar grooming process. Campbell is no Maidana though. Maidana was a guy who looked easier to beat than he actually was. He was brought in to lose against Ortiz and Broner and upset the applecart

I agree with BHop, Garcia has to fight his fight and and discourage Campbell in such a way mentally that Campbell starts to believe it’s a long night and he will ultimately fail. Garcia has to create doubt in the ring with his skills and power that Campbell mails it in early and believes nothing he does will get a win. A lot of fighters talked about Ali that way and Roy in his prime that way and Manny and Floyd. They took everything away from you where you got to a point looking forward to getting your check during the fight, LOL!!! The longer you allow a guy to hang around and build confidence, the longer the night becomes. Garcia has to snatch his confidence & heart early on.
