My reaction to these comments by Oscar De La Hoya, was the same as UFC HOF Chuck Liddell when Oscar invited him to Ryan Garcia vs. Jayson Velez, at the Home-Depot Center on ESPN.

Salvador Sanchez, died a legend at 23 years of age. Ryan's only notable accomplishment roughly at the same age is his infinite teenage, LGBT social-media following and possibly winning a fake WBC 'Interim' lightweight title -- even though Devin Haney ( the real WBC lightweight champion) is not injured.

The 135 division is clearly stacked with talent and solid names, however, I don’t get how almost all of them hold some dubious titles.
Teo is the unified champ YET Garcia, Tank and Haney all are title holders.

Meanwhile, I read comments all the time that so and so doesn’t deserve a fight with a Teo or a Garcia. So who are they supposed to fight?

Tank is a real champion at 130 whether we like it or not. He’s arguably the best one there with Berchelt. You can’t compare Haney or Garcia to Tank. Tank comes with history, the other two don’t.

There is really ONE champion at 135 and it’s Teo. Whatever WBC trinkets Haney and Garcia want to fight over is fine, but Teo is the recognized real champ. Everyone is just vying for the next spot in line right now.

It seems to me that He's been getting by off of speed and power alone, I still haven't seen him tested since he's been with Reynoso, but before that I've seen some real flaws in his game that I think will come back to haunt him at the top level. But hopefully he can make it to the top level and starts getting involved in big PPV fights since he's a big draw and is good for boxing.
