Hypothetically speaking, if Teo was to stay at 135 for the next 2 or 3 years, and decides to fight six times, would Haney figure in any of those six fights?

Or Teo has proven himself that he can just fight bums or even retire and be considered an ATG?

There so much ******ity going on here. For one; has Vasily Lomachenko ceased to exist? For two, Hanye does not need to step up and prove himself simply because the fact is he owns the belt. That is all the incentive "The Takeover" should need, since his whole agenda is to take over the sport. You would think winning belts would be connected with that plan somehow.

I think Hearn should make a real offer to Teo and his team and really negotiate. It's not looking good for Haney as far as big fights at 135 and he really should just trash that WBC belt and immediately go up to 140 to get in a mandatory position there. Fight a Catterall or Paro or Prograis, Barbiza, Zepeda any of those guys can give a good fight see if he's the real deal and be in a spot to challenge the champ

Haney couldn’t knock out a old ass Gamboa, if he would of knocked him out within 5 rounds then ehhh that would of gave him a case for taking Gamboa out earlier than Tank but he couldn’t do that.
