The interviewer brought up a good point about the possibility of Garcia improving since they sparred which I think is most likely true. I also think Teofimo loses to the top guys at 140, at least I think he does without getting acclimated to the division first. I couldn't pick him to beat Josh Taylor right now.

Loma may be salty, but he said in the LOMUS interview that he's 'trash-talking' in order to drum up interest for the rematch. If he went away for months and didn't discuss his performance, he'd fade into the background and the young guys would suck up all of the oxygen because they never stop talking shxt. People wanted answers for his lack of output in the beginning; he felt too injured to press the issue without putting himself in danger. If a full-strength Teo had hurt him too early, Loma probably wouldn't have been able to fight him off. He needed to wait til Teo's gas-tank had diminished.
