But please don't fight Mungia, please! Fight Saunders at least. You know he wants it and it would be a respectable fight for you even if you lost. At least you don't risk getting knocked out. Please someone relay that message to him!!

You didn't have to make this thread.
Charlo is not really interested. He's just been pretending he is.

Charlo could basically keep Golovkin at distance with that rope of a jab or use it to split his guard and hit that uppercut whenever he wants or set him up for something else. And why wouldn't Charlo hurt GGG? Have you actually seen Charlo's uppercut or do you think there's no mortal who can hurt GGG?

I'm not sold on this whole GGG has an incredible chin thing. If your power is so great at your chin is so good, I can't understand for the life of me why you would fight so timid against Danny Jacobs or against Canelo, who couldn't KO Chavez Jr or Cotto. Well, actually we know why. Which is why I think Charlo KOs him.

I respect GGG's chin, but he's kind of soft on the body.

What??? You're aware that he left a belt behind and moved up so he could be GGG's mandatory right? And there's nothing suggesting he did it so he can duck him from up close.

On the other hand, we have Sanchez explicitly saying that GGG will not fight Charlo unless the WBC forces it. Canelo relieved them of his duties, and now he's going for a meaningless fight against a green and unproven contender when he could go for a unification fight instead.

It's much more plausible that GGG is the one ducking. Also, how do you think fighters make a living? How many money fights are out there for Charlo besides Canelo?

I think the Derevyanchenko fight is a better reference considering it was the most recent and the fighter shares more similarities with GGG. This is also a fighter they both faced, though I like to take triangle theory with a grain of salt.

Having a solid chin doesn't make one invincible. We're all flesh and blood creatures and there is a limit to how much damage any of us can take.

What similarities does Derev have with Golovkin other than being born in the same part of the world?
