Otherwise he can squeeze these extra fights in.

When you’re earning the money he gets and fighting minimally, the fans expect you to fight top quality opponents
Yeah but he just fought in December so this fight is literally two months and a week after that...

That's why Canelo is going after killer Yildirim, because he only wants the big fights.

But it’s after that. Will he jump straight into a fight, and a good one? Or will it be one more fight this year, and that’s it.

Will he squeeze three or four fights in?

You would be surprised. Ppl in Mexico know a lot more about boxing than you may think. Canelo makes money off the Mexicans in America, who would follow any Mexican.

The trade off of Canelo squeezing a fight in before May is that it was never gonna be against a killer. I’m fine with that as long as he faces top guys for Cinco De Mayo and Mexican Independence Day

That took place not long after a war with Golovkin in their rematch.

I'm aware that in Mexico they have a deep tradition/love for boxing it's where so many talented fighters/world champions have risen out from..

Fighting their way up to stardom or just for a better life their determination at times has been legendary in that sense in the ring..

F=ck that. Fight Charlo at 168. This fight would be something Canelo is great at avoiding. A real challenge. Fight would be great.for boxing also.
