Haney vs Teo, Teo vs Garcia, Haney vs Garcia
are more likely to happen than Davis vs these non-PBC guys.
But I don't see them happening anytime soon.

    Hearn/Arum/GBP has worked together before.
I don't know if Ellerbe/Floyd even let Davis fight on DAZN or ESPN.

Haney needs to stfu and fight Ventura because none of the big names at 135 are going to fight a paper champion who isn't a draw and has zero impressive wins on his resume.

I remember at one time Haney was the next best thing and then he had his injury and all the young guys past him up with meaningful fights while he was inactive. He's trying so hard to be relevant again but talk is cheap

Haney gave a shot, undersized, over the hill Gamboa so much respect that it made him look scared to get hit. If that’s the case with that level fighter then I have zero desire to see him face a truly dangerous opponent. What a stinker that would be. Ugggggly.

I just have no faith in him fighting anyone as he’s 25 fights deep and his best win is via email.

I just don’t wanna hear about him fighting Lopez, Loma, Tank etc when he still hasn’t faced anyone close to the top 10. I’d view it the same as if Hector Tanajara calling out those guys as their equally as proven at the top level.
Mandatories, man. He literally has to deal with what the WBC makes him do. Nobody on earth is dumping a strap and then fighting Tennyson.

The first mandatory is the winner of Campbell/Garcia though right? They might not be ready until late spring- early summer depending on how the fight goes.

I can see him being allowed to take a voluntary in Feb/March.

Also if Garcia wins, I just don’t see Garcia-Haney happening. Unsure whether Oscar and Eddie would wanna risk one of their top prospects.

He should fight Fortuna next. Then the winners meet but I don’t see it playing out that simple.

Agreed. They should make the Fortuna fight since it's probably next anyway.
