It's funny, today, no one or not many, but a few years ago, Price, Mitchell, Dom, Ortiz, all had fans. Wilder may be there soon.

Don't think CM had fans until he told us he stomps this earth like a god.
Do you remember that interview with Manny Steward, where they asked him who’s gonna be the next HW champ and they throw David Price’s and Seth Mitchell’s names at him. And Manny is like nah, it’s gonna be Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.

Solid fight. I’ll take Wallin on points.

Only Joyce has done anything though.

Yoka should be skipped. He's Euro level. He may be better than Euro level but until he actually fights someone in or near the top ten his ranking in the top ten is based on projection not work handed in. Yoka should do well, but mugs thought the same of Price and Mitchell.

Hrgović? Honestly tired of hearing about how great this dude who has done **** all is. Amateur wins should not mean so much to pro ranking. There is no justifying him above a Otto-Dom winner. Hrgović's best win are Dom's leftovers. Makes no sense for Dom to pick up another win over a top guy or at least higher ranked than Amir and Molina, and get passed over for a guy whose best wins are Ams and Dom leftovers.

Joyce, that'd be a damn shame. Joe deserves high profile fights and title shots if he wants them. I wouldn't mind Joyce waiting/padding a bit, but, if he's ready I am too.

            Romanov
            Sanchez
            Fa
            Kayabel
            Dinu
            Rivas
            Zhang
            Bryan

All have reasons why they're being watched. None of them have fought anyone to deserve their ranking or belt in Bryan's case let alone passing up the mid level guys who have.

            Kownacki
            Martin
            Helenius
            Dom
            Arreola
            Pulev
            Hunter
            Joyce
            Parker

All have mixed it up with low end to mid end top ten HWs. Yoka and Hrgović have yet to. They're fighting guys who were top ten in like 2012-2014. They ought to fight one another or someone from the Kownacki list if they expect breaks before guys who are doing it.

Strongly disagree with your ranking of the new kids, well, not Joyce, but still. Wallin I agree with, he's right there with them. Dom fought names when they had them and is still doing it. They're fighting his leftovers. No justification at all. It's like ranking on projected merit.

              Yes, I do!

I was on a scottish forum of trolls at the time. Everyone had chosen their guys and was off with their mad jokes. Scots, at least these boys, got jokes on jokes on jokes. Loads of fun, I miss that community.

Anyway, there were a lot of influential guys there. Dudes who really knew their **** and I was bit green. Just a casual stepping into the real fandom.

So I listened and judged but never felt strongly. I asked people "What'cha reckon on Mitchell" and some folks would give him greatness before he earned it and others called him bum before he earned that either.

Then Manny dropped that interview and I was like well **** the greatest living HW trainer what trained Lewis and slapped his punk ass for not winning the way Manny wants says Fury/Wilder, my ass does too.

Early on I was a Fury fan as much as a Wilder fan. I still kind of am, it's just when push comes to shove and it's time to back one over the other I went Wilder. Say what you want about the guy, the 9.5 KD proves he was always worthy of Manny's faith. Very close call.

2010-2012 here I was just learning. There I was picking up my trolling skills. It'd be 2012 I became a real boxing fan, learned enough from guys like Rockin' and Bundana to be able to learn from watching fights. Learned from Manny who to watch and what to try to identify.

              Super important interview for me.

Incredible foresight from Manny but that’s why he was so qualified to make such a prediction. He’d seen it all before going back to his days learning from Futch.

I’ve always been a Fury guy going back to when I saw him drop ABA champion David Price as an amateur. I love Pricey, one of the nicest fella’s you’ll meet in boxing, his skills are legit but he just can’t seem to handle the intensity of professional HW boxing and that’s why he’s never progressed past domestic level.
Fury went on to win the ABA’s the next year completely dominating a lad boxing out of Repton ABC and UK coaches really began to take note.

Wilder I was never really sold on, always respected the athleticism and power but felt he was an accident waiting to happen. I give him a lot of credit because he proved me wrong. I’d have laughed if someone told me this guy was gonna make 10 HW title defences. It wasn’t until he beat Ortiz I became a believer in Wilder as a world class Heavyweight.

Don't love this fight. Wallin could be put in a lot of competitive fights and Breazeale could be matched in a lot of fun fights, this is neither imo. Wide and boring UD for Wallin, 9-3/10-2 type fight

Breazeale cannot be in any boring fight due to style and limited tactical planning since he needs stoppages against most top guys as he’s not the fastest .

Wallin will bring the fight as well and when fire back immediately, can’t see this being boring and both take solid shots .
