Why doesn’t Porter take PAYCUT stylee like ANDRADE to Dethrown CRAWFORD?!

Andrade wants the Canelo fight. He needs BJS at all costs!

Does Porter realize how much noise he’d make if he dethroned Crawford? Just take the fight mayne!

Why would he take a pay cut to fight Crawford? Crawford needs Porter more than Porter needs Crawford at this point.

Let's take a quick look at Shawn Porter's career and where he is right now.

He defeated a prime Devon Alexander
He defeated an older Paulie Malignaggi
He defeated an older Andre Berto
He lost close to a prime Kell Brook
He defeated a prime Adrien Broner
He lost close to a prime Keith Thurman
He defeated a prime Danny Garcia
He lost close to a prime Errol Spence Jr.

Porter has been highly competitive with the elite in the division and defeated the guys who were a level or two below that.

Crawford is seen as elite by many while others don't agree.

Porter hasn't quite gotten over the hump and a Crawford fight would be an opportunity to do so

Crawford needs an elite opponent and Shawn Porter needs a victory over an elite opponent because he's come up just short so far.

The fight would answer a lot of questions about both but they can get paid well to face heavy underdogs to be honest.

By the way, I believe that fighters are free to negotiate their purse amounts and that's all I have to say about the business aspect.

Unfortunately fighters don't need to take risks in order to get paid top dollar, however Crawford and Porter would benefit legacy-wise by fighting each other for the reasons I outlined.

Porter lost to Brook, Thurman and Spence. ESPN isn’t interested in PBC over evaluation of pays. Has Porter counter offered a minimum? Or we funna go to purse bid up in dis hoe!?

What is considered a paycut for the both of them? $1 million to Porter is a STEEP paycut.

Why isn’t Porter asking for a number below Brook’s purse? Or is this going to a purse bid?

I agree this is a great match up that would benefit both my point being is Porter has consistently stepped up to the plate even when he came up short and even as a fan of Bud I can say he really hasn't made waves at 147 other than the Hope's of seeing that big fight we all wanna see him in.

Porter has stepped up, and it helps that he is on the "right side of the street" as they say.

With that said, Top Rank should actually be willing to overpay a bit to get Bud Crawford an elite opponent like Shawn Porter.

If they don't fight each other then Porter has the Spence rematch as an option while Crawford has the Josh Taylor-Jose Ramirez winner (or either guy individually if they don't fight each other first).

Porter doesnt get paid by espn. Why should he give af about what espn says.

Shawn has fought better competition for more pay. Crawford being greedy at this point that's why hes fighting bums so he can keep the lions share or to keep his O.

porter is a real deal and crawford is a bum. porter has the right to demand a higher purse. if this match happened then bud will be exposed for sure.
