well atleast floyd will prove to the world again why everyone is calling him a cherry picker and only fight opponent that he can beat and will never fight any prime fighters. ooops logan is in his prime now.Comment

The following is a list of the top 20 fighters of the 21st century. Nothing done prior to the year 2000 is taken into consideration, so as good as guys like Roy Jones Jr or Felix Trinidad were in the 90’s none of that was taken into consideration. It is simply a list of the best and most accomplished fighters from 2000-present

10. Tyson Fury (Heavyweight)
Current record: 29 wins, one draw and no defeats

Highlight of the Decade:
The Gypsy King begins our list of top 10 boxers.
Tyson Fury’s best performance to date took place against Wladimir Kiltschko, the then heavyweight champion back in November 2015. It was arguably the biggest shock in boxing since James Buster Douglas beat Mike Tyson almost 30 years ago when he beat the Ukrainian by unanimous decision in Dusseldorf.
The Mancunian would unfortunately not box for two-and-half years following this amazing performance and had to vacate the belts that he won due to mental health reasons.
In 2018, Fury made his return to the ring and put in an impressive performance against the WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder last year, and he looks set to fight the American again in the early part of 2020.
9. Oleksandr Usyk: (Cruiserweight)
Current Record: 17 wins and no defeats
Titles: Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion (July 2018-March 2019)
Highlight of the Decade:
Next on our list is Ukrainian fighter Oleksandr Usyk.
Oleksandr Usyk v Chazz Witherspoon
Usyk’s main achievement so far has been unifying the cruiserweight division by outclassing Murat Gassiev in Moscow, winning by a wide unanimous points margin in the final of the World Boxing Series in July 2018.
Usyk would go on to beat Briton’s Tony Bellew before moving up to heavyweight earlier this year. He is rumoured to be one of Anthony Joshua’s next opponents.
8. Manny Pacquiao (Welterweight)
Current Record: 62 wins, 7 draws and two defeats
Titles: WBA Super World Welterweight Champion
Highlight of the decade:
The legendary Filipino fighter has enjoyed many memorable fights over the past 10 years.
Most fight fans and pundits thought it was the end of the road when Pacquiao lost ‘the fight of the century’ to Floyd Mayweather back in 2015.
The ‘Pac-Man,’ at the age of 40, however, proved that age is just a number as he beat American Keith Thurman, who is 10 years his junior and was previously unbeaten, in July of this year.

7. Terence Crawford (Welterweight)
Current Record: 36 wins and no defeats
Titles: WBO World Welterweight Champion
Highlight of the decade:
The first of our three American fighters in the top 10, Terence Crawford has won world titles in three different divisions.
The former wrestler most recently defeated the two-time Lithuanian Olympian Egidijus Kavaliauskas, who had never previously been knocked out. The American was also impressive in dispatching Amir Khan back in April of this year.
The welterweight is not as high up the list as he might have been as he is still seeking a career-defining fight. A potential match up with fellow Americans Shawn Porter or Errol Spence Jnr has been suggested for sometime in 2020.
6. Gennady Golovkin (Middleweight)
Current record: 40 wins, one draw and one defeat
Titles: IBF World Middleweight Champion
Highlight of the Decade:
Triple G firmly established himself as one of the most feared fighters in the middleweight division with an 83.3% KO rate. He also became the first fighter to stop fighters such as Daniel Geale and Kell Brook and was able to produce a winning streak of 37.
Gennady Golovkin v Sergiy Derevyanchenko
Golovkin most recently claimed the IBF Middleweight Championship with an impressive display against the Ukrainian fighter Sergey Derevyanchenko.
The Kazakh fighter’s one defeat so far in his career was to the formidable Mexican fighter Saul Alvarez back in September 2018. It is reported that a trilogy fight between the pair could be made in 2020.
5. Errol Spence Jr (Welterweight)
Current record: 26 wins and no defeats
Titles: IBF World Welterweight Champion, WBC World Welterweight Champion
Highlight of the Decade:
The second American in this list Errol Spence Jr, otherwise known as ‘The Truth’, has a terrific record and has beaten high profile fighters such as Shawn Porter and Mickey Garcia in his last two fights.
A potential all-American fight with Terence Crawford could be next for Spence Jr next year, with both aiming to conquer the welterweight division.
4. Naoya Inoue (Bantamweight)
Current Record: 19 wins and no defeats
Titles: IBF World Bantamweight Champion, WBA Super World Bantamweight Champion
Highlight of the Decade:
The 26-year-old Japanese fighter won a fight for the ages last month against the all-time great Filipino boxer Nonito Doanire that secured him the World Bantamweight series trophy, as well as his status in the GIVEMESPORT top 10 fighters of the decade.

The World Boxing Series promoter Kalle Sunderland described Inoue’s fight with the former four-weight champion Doanire as ‘an absolute war’ and the prospect of lucrative fights in America beckon for the fighter referred to as ‘The Monster.’
3. Vasyl Lomachenko (Lightweight)
Current record: 14 wins and one defeat
Titles: WBC Franchise Lightweight Champion, WBO World Lightweight Champion, WBA Super World Lightweight Champion
Highlight of the Decade:
Vasyl Lomachenko is twice an Olympic Games winner and one of the most decorated amateur boxers of all time with a 396-1 record.
Since turning professional, Lomachenko has managed to win four world titles in just 15 professional fights. His two biggest professional wins to date have been against multiple world champions Jorge Linares and Jose Pedraza.
The Linares fight was particularly impressive as the Ukrainian had to come back from being knocked down in the sixth round to drop the champion with a series of body shots in the 10th.
2. Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez (Middleweight)
Current record: 53 wins, two draws and one defeat
Titles: WBC Franchise Middleweight Champion, WBO World Light Heavyweight Champion, WBA World Super Middleweight Champion, WBA Super World Middleweight Champion
Highlight of the Decade:
The Mexican fighter, nicknamed ‘Canelo’ because of his ginger hair and freckles, has dominated the middle and impressed in the super-middleweight division over the past few years.
Canelo Alvarez v Sergey Kovalev
Alvarez has most recently become the best-paid fighter in the sport after winning the WBO Light-Heavyweight crown against Russian fighter Sergey Kovalev. This was the 53rd victory of the Mexican’s career.
Canelo’s one and only defeat came against Floyd Money’ Mayweather back in September 2013, which showcased an action packed fight between two highly skilled boxers.
During his period of dominance, the Mexican has secured victories against world-class fighters such as Gennady Golovkin, Daniel Jacobs and Miguel Cotto.
It is reported that a third fight with Triple G is likely to be made in 2020 and there is also the prospect of a bout with Britain’s IBF World Champion Callum Smith.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. v Canelo Alvarez
During this decade his highlights included defeating Saul Alvarez back in 2013 as he beat the Mexican fighter via a majority decision. This victory sent the American well on his way to becoming arguably the greatest of all time.
Mayweather subsequently secured his legacy as one of the best by winning the contest built up as ‘the fight of the century’ against Manny Pacquiao in May 2015 via a unanimous decision.

Yes pac has some losses, armstrong has losses, robinson has losses, ali has losses, leonard has losses, duran has losses but those boxer are higher than floyd that's why most people think that pac is higher and now the no. 1 greatest boxer of the 21st century.
