Please, please, just hang 'em up, Sergio. Massive fan here and thanks for the great times champ, but you need to know when to let go.

If Martinez is capable of beating Murata, he instantly becomes relevant at MW. Murata should be too much for Maravilla though.

If Martinez manages to beat Murata, he would (unfortunately) become fair game.

The article says that he's looking to face an opponent who's 30-2. The closest record I found was a guy named Ivan Matute: https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/701592

Anybody think he should be going after Munguia instead of Murata?

TECHNICALLY, Golovkin should have 2 losses...

I just want to see that fight. I have to know if Sergio damn near 50 with a bum knee can take Golovkin the distance and be competitive.

Worst case there's always Lara - then it's a fight between guys who were once robbed against Williams.

Sergio was feeling down for so long due to the leg injury. He wanted to continue in the sport that he loved. That's what this comeback is about--returning to boxing to have fun again and entertain a crowd. Just like Roy Jones Jr., he has the warrior's mentality and will keep fighting until the very end.
