I'm a fan of Golovkin but I'm sceptical he'll try to do anything with his career

That sums it up really. Golovkin can basically chose to fight whoever he wants other than Canelo but instead of trying to do something we get these fights against guys who have no business being in the ring with him.Comment

I would prefer him move to 168, if he can't get the 3rd Canelo fight.
Wouldn't mind a fight with Andrade or Charlo either. But if GGG KOs one of them, people will just say that guy ******. How could they not suck in a hater's mind? They got KOed by GGG after all. If the fight goes 12 rounds, haters will say GGG lost etc. If GGG clearly wins in any way, that guy will have ******, and GGG will have avoided the other guy.
I feel like a fight at 168 vs Saunders, Plant, or Benevidez would have more appeal.Comment

At 38 most of his legacy is already probably written. Not sure what the plan will be with/for him. DAZN is paying him too much money to fight just about anyone. They are going to want to cut his pay or make a money-making matchup. I think the Munguia fight makes sense for them but doesn't do much for GGG's legacy, not unless he wins and Munguia ends up being better than most think.
Besides Canelo 3 or a fight at 168 (or even 175) I don't see a real legacy fight for him right now. Andrade and Charlo would help some but they aren't exactly 100% proven themselves.Comment
