Considering Crawford’s recent kerfuffle with Top Rank, and that his contract expires with the promotional company in October, Haymon and company could perhaps prefer to keep the waiting game going a little more and call on the Nebraska native once he’s an unrestricted free agent.

Crawford isn’t ducking Spence and Spence isn’t ducking Crawford. I know you may be new to the game and somewhat of a celebrity worshipper but it’s not the case.

Spence doesn’t mention Crawford to snub him and make him realize he isn’t A-side. Crawford doesn’t make Arum cut the deal with Haymon to fight Spence because he believes he is worth more than he actually is. In addition, the fight won’t be made until more butts can be put in seats. This is called the boxing game and the marinating of a fight.
