What if Crawford felt he wanted to be like SRL vs Hagler or SRL vs Lalonde at 168.

What catchweight would be fair for Crawford vs Canelo?

None crawford would get killed stop the ideas n yet either answer ? only 168 or 164min catchweight for canelo aint going back to 160 cept for ggg if the $ right for canelo clearly has found self at 168. The only 1 going up is spence even then i figure ite 154 max if to 160 its a 1 time fight vs ggg if got belt in a yr cause hed be shot completly by then. N after either catweights like cotto or backdown to 154. If crawford tried itd be similar yet crawford doesnt take risk either cause him or arum how else dude never fought a consensus top 10 nor a 5 nor another champ.

I’ve seen Bud post pre training weight as high as 190, prior to the fight with Postol iirc.

Canelo can easily make 160. The only reason he acting like he cant is because he ducking those guys at 160. I rather see Crawford vs GGG though lol

Canelo vs Crawford at 160 or maybe 158 like Hopkins-De La Hoya is something I’d actually be interested in.

That’d be Leonard-Hagler level sh**. Canelo is at his peak though so it’d be even bolder.

              Can’t see it happening though...

You are always saying the walk around weight of boxers when you are just making up numbers and have no idea what weight they walk around at. How do you know Crawford walks around at 170? Did you catch him walking around and strip him down and throw him on a scale? You are so ignorant that you don't know walking around weight has absolutely nothing to do with a boxer's correct fighting weight. Some boxers like welterweight Mayweather stayed lean between fights and was never more than a few pounds above his fighting weight. Other welterweight boxers like Bradley and Hatton get very fat between fights weighing nearly 200 pounds. Does that make them proper cruiserweights? Hell no. Bradley and Mayweather were both proper welterweights. There fight weight was the same. Yet Bradley's walking around weight might be 40 pounds more because he walked around with a lot of body fat and Mayweather stayed lean. Crawford is not even a big welterweight and was fighting at 135 and 140 not that long ago. Crawford even talked about returning to 135 so clearly he make the 147 pound weight limit with ease. Canelo is now a full sized 168 pound boxer who cannot even make 160 now without weakening himself. He had zero extra weight on him last fight and was lean at 168. He is never returning to 160. So Canelo is the naturally heavier boxer than Crawford by at least 21 pounds and probably more. Canelo and Crawford are way too far apart in weight for any fair catchweight to be arranged. You would have to either drain the hell out of Canelo or have Crawford giving up 20 pounds or more. It is a very ****** idea but your ideas always are very ******. Just leave things alone and let boxers fight at whatever damn weight they want to fight at because they will anyway. Get your head out of your ass and quit living in fantasy land.

Walk around weight is not the same as fight weight. When these guys train hard for 3 months, the amount of cardio will make them drop in weight unless they weight train which is not advisable.

Canelo has not fought at 160 since he fought Jacobs and I don't think he can make 160 and be at his best. Why would he stay at 168 to avoid the best middleweights when even more dangerous bigger harder punching guys like Benavidez and Bivol are calling him out at 168?
