You talk as though Dubois being #2 when Joe beat him was logical, it was a complete Frank Warren special.

If we ignore all that which is a lot to ignore then Parker shouldn't jump over Joe with Fa. Ideally the two Joe's would fight.

Anyway Joyce is getting on so I have no problem with him getting his shot earlier and given Frank owns the WBO it's happening. Parker has already had one shot and has avoided any attempt to boost his resume post Whyte.

Since Parker lost to Whyte all he has done about it is moan then look at all the fights Whyte took since. I get Whytes a hard person to like but he picks good fights. Fa is below Joe's level not as bad as that last Ortiz fight mind and I get it makes money in New Zealand in a pandemic.

Of course it was a Fisheyes special, I'd include it in my whole "crossing palms with silver" comment - but Dubois was still officially at #2 whether legit or not. Fa's a half decent fighter and beating him is a step in right direction for Parker, but surely the fight after is the minimum for a final eliminator? Nobody can view the Winters and Leapai fights as ranking events, one is getting towards Tyson's legends league age and the other recently got smashed up by Alex Babic while being inside CW limit for a HW fight. I expect Usyk to either get Joshua fight next or sit pretty with step aside cash fighting low risk to keep reasonably fresh. How about Joyce-Parker in the meantime to tidy things up just below in the rankings? I'd pay to watch it, I like both guys and will be happy whoever wins as long as there's not a dodgy scorecard controversy.

I saw this headline and shook my head, nothing about fighting Joyce just oh hopefully we overtake him by beating this guy Fa who has a chronic illness of some sort.
