Valdez is the more skilled one, but he's so undersized here.

      The hypocrisy is transparent.
Come on man... Valdez never fought below featherweight as a professional. It's only his 2nd weight class. Unless you're talking about someone else?

Also that title Cruz won was vacant vs horrendous competition in an extremely boring fight and it was just a gift fight so he could be x weight division champ essentially... Cruz started at super flyweight so 130 was his 5th weight class...

Valdez is way smaller than Berchelt, not even negotiable. Berchelt is basically a junior welter squeezing into 130. You'll see it on fight night. I've always thought Valdez was too undersized for even a featherweight. So the size disparity will be huge. Bantam was a little exaggeration.

On fight night, Davis looked smaller than Cruz, in the ring. Anyways, was just pointing out the hypocrisy.

Gotcha. And well Davis looks smaller than almost everyone cause he is so short. Seems more built in the body than Cruz though. I mean they don't call him Light Armored Vehicle Davis.

I've been a long time Valdez fan. I think he's almost damaged goods now, especially for this fight.

Yeah... The thread title feels like some ominous foreshadowing of him getting his jaw broken for the 2nd time ala Joe Smith Jr.

18 of Valdez's 28 fights have been at Super Featherweight. The other 10 were at Featherweight. He was never a bantamweight.

Without any early surprises this fight will bring out the best in both men. Once past the 3rd rd. Then it's anyones fight. I don't know if Berchelt has faced someone like Valdez. One who gets hit and hits back harder. Most get hit by Berchelt don't want anymore. That's going to spark Valdez. Both didn't look that good in their stay busy covid fights. Can blame the new trainer for Valdez not sure why the rust was on Berchelt. The only real advantage Berchelt has is his trainers while Valdez must overcome the Reynose mud he's stuck in. I still belive in Valdez. Can't take away from heart!

Valdez already had 3 fights under 130. Cruz only had 1 and Davis dropped his belt to go to 135 to just come back and fight for the same belt at 130.

Everyone did say Berchelt ducked Herring for this fight but this fight might bring in more money. And everyone knows Berchelt is a big favorite to win and ko just like davis
This is undercard fight on a ppv or free tv fight both guys not popular mexican fighters

Top Rank doesn't have one PPV worthy fighter. Don't worry!
