It is bs that the franchise champ was created & worse yet because he gave loma a undeserving wbc lifetime achievement award sorto speak (for his 1st wbc)when there was no justification because Loma didn't need it to go up vs champs in higher weights(the supposed reason it was created to begin with) now Teo has the franchise champ & isn't going after more champs right away,so that means the WBC are directly standing in the way of what should've been the true fight for undisputed. They're forcing Haney to make 2 defenses back to back but Teo gets to cherrypick a non beltholder while keeping his belt indefinitely & he doesn't have to move up or fight Loma or anyone else

Whyte was the mandatory for the 3 years. He was the #1 contender, but Breazeale was the mandatory. Breazeale was supposed to fight Stiverne, who was the mando,in a title eliminator. Stiverne fought Wilder instead and Breazeale was elevated as a result. Whyte was the mandatory until his fight with Rivas.

Haney is just taking what they gave him, I know he doesn't think he beat the best. The problem is, it was a lottery, the guy he beat for the title is nowhere good as his mandatories. It's done like that on purpose. Give him a title, they have plenty, and he can earn it later. Like buying a used car on credit, they lock him in, and now he has to pay for it.
