Was Mayweather vs Maidana 1 SAME as Smith vs Ryder?
What if Floyd never fought Maidana in the rematch. Would you question that Floyd was exposed? What if Floyd had moved on to fight a TOUGHER fighter than Maidana?
Floyd jizzboys act like the first Castillo and maidana fights never happened lol
The only way to look decent against Floyd is too smother him, he still beats them but the average fan/hater dont have a clue what they seeing so they think he is getting beat, the rematch is just to show them how easy it is when boxes .

When they were reading the scorecards I was nervous. It was a fight that Maidana could have won. It wasn't a robbery, just every round was tough for Mayweather, although he pretty much outboxed and outclassed Maidana from rounds 9 through 12. It could have easily been scored a draw and that would have been fine. You can tell Mayweather was past prime. He knew it too, that's why retired the year after that. The most proper scores for any fighter would be 115-113.
Crazy thing is I made several comments on how Maidana will likely end up being tougher and coming closer to beating Mayweather than Pacquiao would be. Which in my opinion, it was true.
It was a good idea by Mayweather to rematch Maidana. He beat him fairly easily and outlanded Maidana in more rounds than the first one. Gotta handed to Maidana.

Agreed. I think Floyd sc****d by but it was a tough fight. I honestly thought Canelo was his last great performance but even in it you can see he wasn't what he once was. I thought they were going to declare the first Chino fight a draw
But he gave him the rematch and that is all that matters. Canelo is a better fighter than MAidana yes? But that was the easiest fight of Floyd's career, and Maiden lost to Amir Kahn. Styles make fights and if you in a close decisions w style that bad for you you GIVE that person a REMATCH or else you are a COWARD

Yup. It could have easily been a Draw. They outlanded eachother in 6 rounds each, both total punches and power punches as well. Floyd knew this, that's why he immediately said in the post fight interview that he would give Maidana a rematch.
Gotta hand it to Maidana for the performance and for Mayweather showing his "fighter" side and giving him the rematch without owing him one. That was just simply Floyd setting out to see if he can beat Maidana clearly. So many fighters avoid rematches of fights they had a rough time in. Even though he got the W, it probably stung Floyd a lot. He knew in his brain that he barely edged it and had to rematch him just as a fighter this time and not thinking about business. The rematch was not Floyd trying to get as much money as possible, as usual. It was actually him thinking strictly as a fighter.
