You know a fighter is good when NSB starts making "X fighter vs ATG" threads.

Spence isnt versatile enough nor does he hit hard enough to discourage Canelo. I just dont see anything in his arsenal that suggests he beats Canelo.

Spence is a 147 fighter who hasnt even beaten the best in his own division.

If he is big enough to beat canelo, why not move up for GG, beat GG, and get more leverage at the negotiation table with Canelo.

This matchup is silly right now. Fight Crawford first dude.

        No welter can beat Canelo.

When I read the title this was exactly the comment I was going to make, think he’s too big now!

If it was the Canelo of a few years ago it would have been a *******!

What weight do they make it at? 155, 160??

What is it with the sudden interest in this fight by a small group of fans? Canelo has fought as high as 175lbs and is currently campaigning at 168.

If Spence thinks he is a "big" welterweight then go up to 154 and start with the lower tier 154 fighters like Teixeira, Lubin, or J-Rock. Then fight Charlo. If he thinks he's ready for 160, then go up there and fight a rugged guy like Derevyancheko. If he beats him, call out GGG or Charlo. If he can beat one of them, then call out Canelo at a catchweight of about 165 or so, or go all the way up to 168.

Of course he can just skip all that, call out Canelo now at 165lbs and lose the fight but win a big prize like Khan did. And like Khan, probably get KTFO.

It's an excuse not to fight Bud, but y'all don't want to admit it. Sell your 0 to the highest bidder.
