America did. Golivkin felt like he could fight a fair fight and get a fair result in America. Lol. Canelo was likely juiced up to the eye balls and Golivkin got robbed.

Sometimes it can break a man when they believe in the fairness of sport then go to the mecca of cheating.

I set myself up for that one.

Im just pointing out how the other poster is Exaggerating with the whole " Anyone who's a real boxing fan Knows GGG won " crap.

I don't have issues with anyone saying they were Close fights that coulda gone either way.
But when you start stating something as if it's a Fact when it isn't I'ma call you out.

Since GGG *won* the first fight, I would say nope... That 118-110 was a fellany ...

GGG made his money and arguably won the first fight, arguably fought to a draw in the 2nd.

I think Canelo could clearly beat and possibly stop GGG if they finish the trilogy, but he doesn't have a crystal clear win over Golovkin to date. The Byrd scorecard will be infamous for years to come.

I think it's currently fair to say that Canelo ushered GGG into the last phase of his career- if they do the 3rd fight and Canelo works him over as bad as I'd expect, then we can say he ended his career after that.

Right now we're just all looking at that Derevy fight where Golovkin looked so strained and think he's on his way out. But he performed well in both Canelo fights, they both went through hell. I love those fights regardless of outcomes/cards/results. The actual boxing, chins, and style clash is amazing.

He is still a world champion and just KOed a guy with ease that respected Ring magazine rated the 6th best middleweight in the world. Most neutral viewers thought he beat Canelo twice. So no Canelo did not hurt him in any way and helped him get a nice fat juicy 100 million dollars for 6 fights deal. Being 38 hurts his ability just as it does any 38 year old boxer. How good do you think Canelo will be at 38 or even 35? Your problem is you are a poor judge of boxing talent and poor at scoring fights. You are a big time GGG hater and Canelo lover and it shows. You cannot be fair to GGG because it is not your nature to be fair to boxers. You overrate the ones you like and trash the ones you don't like unfairly.

I understand now your character... why you always approach things formally or diplomatically (though not objectively). It’s that you’ve been trying to win poster of the year for a hot minute innit? Defend GGG at all costs? Remember not so long ago you were more objective about Canelo but sometimes you lose your marbles, boy!

Back in the Floyd vs Pac days you were more loose unlike today, and you hated on Floyd big time. So surely this is all to get poster of the year?

If it means anything. I give you an honorable mention for the spot. You love GGG long time! $fye dala!
