    Corona vs Boxers

I keep thinking after hearing a the stagnant talk that there is a probable likelihood that this year has added more timee than a year to these boxers livelihood. I mean yes most are staying in shape, but in the flip side they aren't going into camp after camp turning everything up to its peak.
What do you all think about this scenario? Aside from ring rush, which can be shaken off with sharp sparring and the first round or 2 of their 1st fight back.

I think it's good for older boxers since rest is great for them.

I think it's a net negative for younger boxers & guys in their prime. They lost time & forward movement in their career. It's basically been a lost year in their development &/or earning power.

I also believe while damage not taken during this period is a good thing the human body is able to do high level competitive things like boxing for only so long & just because a year got wasted doesn't mean you get an extra year of your prime added on the back side.

Inactivity is a fighter's worst enemy, and more so for younger fighters than it is for older ones. Also not being able to get quality sparring is bad for younger fighters trying to learn different styles and evolve in the gym, because hitting mitts and bags won't improve a fighter. So it could be bad for a fighter but we're talking about millionaires with strong connections who can make things happen under most circumstances. Other fighters who are locked in somewhere with no gyms or sparring are definitely taking steps back.
